123\DS-A for Citroen ID, DS

123\DS-A123\DS-A is a distributor, specifically targeted for the Citroen ID/DS. It contains all the curves for carbureted ID/DS-engines as originally specified by Citroen, for cars after July 1959.

With a switch you can easily choose the advance-curve that was specified for your engine.

It comes with an angled distributor-cap, for easy access to the sparkplug-leads.
Might you prefer un upright cap, please specify a '123\DS-R'

For ID's until 2/1964 Citroen used a distributor with vacuum-advance. To replace this you should order a '123\DS-R-V'.

ID-19B's from 9-'66 until 9-'68 with 'DV'-engine , and DS19A / DS19MA & ID19FA with 'DY'-engine from '65 to '68 require a different fixation. For these cars we offer a '123\DV-R' with a special mounting bracket.





123\DS-R for Citroen DS, Traction Avant and H-van

the 123\DS-R is essentially the same unit as the 123\DS-A : it contains the same set of 16 advance-curves.

Two curves are dedicated to the Traction-Avant engines, the 'Perfo' and the '11D'.

For the 'H'-van there are two advance-curves too, both for the 'H78'-engine. One of these has a so-called 'rev-limiter', to prevent unwanted engine-damage.

Might you require vacuum-advance : specify a '123\DS-R-V'.

123\DS-IE-R for DS 21 IE and 23 IE (injection electronique)

123\DS-IE-Rthe 123\DS-IE-R is designed to replace the original Bosch ZV11/7 A 3 A distributor, that was used by Citroen in conjunction with the Bosch injection-system.

The 123\DS-IE-R comes in a Bosch-like housing, with a Bosch cap and rotor. Two extra outputs will provide the right signals to the injection-computer.

The unit is factory-set to provide the right advance-curve, for the DS21-ie and the DS23-ie.

Proper advance-curve AND proper working of the injector-outputs, often brings dramatic improvements for fuel-injected DS'es !



123\MERCEDES-4-R-V for Mercedes with 4 cyl. engines

the 123\MERCEDES-4-R-V is designed for the W110, W115 and W123 engines, in the Mercedes :

It has advance-curves for B18-A ( VALP ), B18-B, B20-A, B20-B, B20-D, B20-E, B20-F, B18-Penta & B20-Penta engines.

Before installation, the right advance-curve can be chosen, via the switch in the bottomface of the housing. Ready!

123\VW-R-Vthe 123\VW-R-V is created in cooperation with VW-professionals ; this has resulted in a product that can be used in all type '1', '2' and '3' cars, AND that can be used for Porsche 356 and Porsche 912.

The unit comes standard with vacuum-advance, but is also available without. ( 123\VW-R )

The installion instructions show a cross-reference between the original Bosch-number and the setting of the 123\VW-R-V.
There is also a list, that links VW-engine-numbers with the required setting of the 123ignition.

Instruction manual misprint:

Curve D advance starts should be 800 instead of 1600 rpm.



123\MINI-R-V for all classic Mini's

The 123\MINI-R-V is designed with the mini-enthusiast in mind. It is available for the old 'pre-Aplus' Mini, but also for the Aplus engines. ( referred to as : 123\MINI-R-V-A+ )

The unit is layed out in such a way, that static timing can be done on TDC, by means of the built-in LED.

The 16 curves are nicely divided over the spectrum, so that the unit lends itself perfectly for tuning.

The installion manual also offers a comprehensive list, that links a curve-setting to a particular engine.

The 123\GB-4-R-V replaces most 4 cyl. Lucas-distributors for engines in Great-British (hence 'GB') cars, where the distributorshaft is turning in a CCW direction.

The unit offers 16 different advance-curves, that can be selected via a little switch. This is a great feature for easy fine-tuning your engine!

It also offers :

Note that there are dedicated 123-ignitions for Mini, MGA & MGB.

123\DV-R for Citroen ID/DS with DV engine

123\DV-Rthe 123\DV-R is essentially the same unit as the 123\DS-A or the 123\DS-R : it contains the same set of 16 advance-curves. The difference is its shape to fit certain "DV" engines, as Citroen produced in 1966 and 1967.
This can easily be seen, by the two M7 - bolts sticking out of the engine, for mounting the distributor. This explains the
different shape of this 123-ignition.

Might you require vacuum-advance : specify a '123\DV-R-V'.




123\ALFA-4-R-V Giulia, Spider, Bertone, Duetto

The 123\ALFA-4-R-V is identical to the 123\ALFA-4-R but offers vacuum-advance too.

The unit offers a total of 16 advance-curves to be selected by the end-user.

It has advance-curves for the Giulia Nova, Spider & Bertone 2000, the Duetto and many others. There are also a couple of special curves, as used by well respected tuners.

123\LANCIA-4-R-VThe 123\LANCIA-4-R-V is designed with the help of Lancia enthusiasts. As these cars are becoming quite rare, we have chosen to introduce a product that offers all the necessary advance-curves, but that may need some fiddling before it can be mounted.
For the Fulvia this means, that the gearwheel from the original distributor needs to be replaced. ( which is an easy job as everything is prepared by us )

For the Flavia, things are slightly more complicated, but we think almost every handy classic car enthusiast will be able to replace the original drive-dog and find a proper spacer between the mounting-bracket and the flange on the 123ignition.

We have integrated all the required 7 advance-curves for Fulvia 1,2 and 3 and Flavia 1,2 and 3.

And the experience ? Well, the engines run beautifully, without exception !



123\FIAT-TC-4-A-V 124, 131, coupe, spider, abarth with twin-cam engine

The 123\FIAT-TC-4-A-V is designed to replace the mechanical distributor ( mounted on top of the cylinder-head ) in the popular Fiat twin-cam engines.

Four original Fiat-curves are integrated into this product ( for Fiat 124 and Fiat 131 ) that can be selected via a little switch in the bottom-face of the distributor-body.

Another 12 ( standard ) advance-curves can be selected, that offer a nice array of evenly spaced advance-curves, to suit almost ANY requirement.
This is a great feature for fine-tuning your engine!

123\TUNE123ignition heeft het weer geflikt! Als je je motor wilt 'tunen', of als je een motor hebt waarvoor geen standaard 123 ontsteking beschikbaar is.....dan is de 123\TUNE het antwoord ! Door de ontsteking met de computer te verbinden kan de eind-gebruiker héél gemakkelijk de 123\TUNE aanpassen aan zijn wensen, hoe veeleisend die ook zijn. De ontsteking biedt twee curve's die omschakelbaar zijn door al dan niet 12 Volt op een draad van de 123\TUNE aan te sluiten.
( Handig als je op twee verschillende brandstoffen rijdt, zoals Benzine & LPG, of Benzine & E85 ! )
